Mobile Beauty Service Policy
Our services including eyelash extensions, brow threading, lash lifts, brow lamination, spray tanning, dermaplaning facials or makeup are for women only.
Services are provided either:
a) in a client’s home, workplace, event venue, hotel, Airbnb or
b) in our designated mobile beauty vehicle.
No visitors or extra guests are permitted in our service vehicles.
For our safety, new clients are required to:

- Provide a screenshot of their photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel bookings at our discretion.
- In-Home Appointments, Clients must ensure:
* A clean, safe, well-lit space suitable for treatment
* Access to a power outlet (if required)
* Allow additional time to sanitise, set up and pack down equipment
- Mobile Vehicle Appointments, Clients must ensure:
* Arrival 5 minutes before appointment time at the agreed location
* Late arrivals may result in shortened service or cancellation
If the environment is deemed unsafe, unhygienic, or unsuitable, has accessibility issues such as dangerously steep driveway or stairway, unrestrained pets or dogs, inaccurate address or location details; the appointment may be cancelled, and a $50 fee may apply.

Booking Policy
By Appointment Only. Booking online via our website. We cannot answer phone calls when we are with a client or student, please send a text instead.
- Please book online, choose a service, date and time
- Complete payment online
- We will confirm the booking via email and/or text message
- We will confirm payment received and the appointment time
- We will send an appointment reminder on the day of the appointment
- Same-day bookings are not guaranteed. If you have not received a confirmation text, please text us to check

Cancellation Policy
GIVE 48hrs NOTICE – please let us know if you can’t make your appointment for any reason
- Cancellations with more than 48hrs Notice will not incur any fees
- Cancellations with less than 48hrs Notice will incur a $50 Cancellation Fee
- Any fees incurred will need to be paid in full before any new appointments are booked
- Repeat cancellations will be banned indefinitely
No Refund Policy
In accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ):
- No refunds for change of mind
- Adjustments may be offered within 48 hours of notice
- Any concerns must be reported within 48 hours of the appointment
- If you cannot attend an appointment or training course, or show up more than 20 minutes late, for any reason, the appointment will be cancelled with no refund.
Health & Safety Policy
Clients must disclose:
* Allergies or sensitivities
* Eye infections, skin conditions, or recent cosmetic procedures
* Pregnancy or medical conditions affecting treatment
Patch Testing:
Patch tests are recommended for new clients 48 hours prior to appointment, at clients request
* If a patch test is not taken, services proceed at the client’s own risk
* Bubu’s Lashes is not liable for allergic reactions where a patch test was not taken
Bubu’s Lashes is not responsible for reactions caused by:
* Undisclosed medical conditions
* Failure to follow aftercare
* Client negligence
Services may be refused if treatment is deemed unsafe with no refunds.
Appointment Policy
- Being a mobile service, we cannot guarantee arrival to the minute. Our therapists have a buffer of 20 minutes either side of the appointment time, so if you need to be finished by a certain time, please let us know in advance.
- For lash appointments, please ensure that you have cleaned any waterproof mascara from your lashes prior to your appointment and that you do not have any makeup around your eyes. This will ensure that your lashes adhere properly and last longer.
- Allergies and Reactions – If you have any allergies or have had a reaction to any products or treatments in the past, please disclose this prior to your appointment. We want to ensure that we use products that are safe and suitable for you. If you have any kind of reaction you need to let us know as soon as possible within the first 24 hours to ensure we can safely direct you on what to do next.
- Children and Pets – please ensure that they will not be in the way of the therapist. We want to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both you and your therapist.
- Foreign fills will be charged at full set rates plus a lash removal.
- Aftercare & Results –

No refunds are provided for results affected by:
* Poor aftercare
* Hormonal changes

Behavior & Conduct Policy
Bubu’s Lashes has a zero-tolerance policy for:
* Harassment or inappropriate behavior
* Aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful conduct
Services will be terminated immediately without refund if such behavior occurs.
Lash Infill Policy
Did you know, you have around 150 lashes on your top eyelid? We naturally lose 3 lashes per day, 21 lashes after 1 week, 42 lashes after 2 weeks, 63 lashes after 3 weeks, and 84 lashes after 4 weeks.
Your lashes will need an infill to keep them looking full. Book your infill appointment every 2-3 weeks
- You must have more than half or 50% of lashes remaining on both eyes to be considered an infill
- If any eye has less than half or 50% lashes remaining, a full set will be recommended
- We may request a close-up photo of both eyes if you are unsure whether you need an infill or full set
- We may request a close-up photo of both eyes if work is done elsewhere
No-Show Policy
- GIVE 48hrs NOTICE – please let us know if you can’t make your appointment for any reason
- No notice will incur a $50 fee
- Repeat no-show will be banned indefinitely
Lateness Policy
- GIVE US NOTICE – please let us know if you are running late for any reason. 5 minutes late is ok, 20 minutes late is not
- Any time lost through lateness will not be carried over
- Twenty minutes late will be canceled with a $50 Lateness fee
- No notice or contact will incur a $50 fee
- Repeat lateness will be banned indefinitely
Minimum Spend Policy
The minimum spend amount for bookings is $100. To ensure we can run our business efficiently and cover operational costs, we do not accept bookings below the minimum spend amount.
Covid & Sickness Policy
- Please stay home if you are unwell, tested positive or isolating
Reschedule Policy

- Rescheduling with more 48hrs Notice will not incur any fees
- Rescheduling with less than 48hrs Notice will incur a $50 fee. Fees must be paid in full before making any future bookings
Hair Policy
- Avoid wearing bun or mid ponytail hairstyles
- Come with clean, washed hair in a low ponytail hairstyle
- Any clients with nits will be cancelled
No-Rush Policy
- If you need to rush off and finish your appointment early, please let us know in advance
- Allow extra time for travel
- Ask us or check how long the treatment time is before booking
- Allow extra time for set up or pack down and sanitisation
