Bubu’s Lashes Booking Policy: requires online booking and online payment, with a $50 fee for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice. All bookings must be paid for at the time of booking, and no refunds are given. Cancellations or Appointment-Reschedule-Request
Before your appointment:
- Clean and exfoliate: Gently exfoliate the day before to remove dead skin, but do not do it on the day of your appointment to prevent irritation.
- Arrive with clean skin: Do not apply makeup, creams, or oils to the area before the appointment, as oils can make the hair grip more difficult.
- Avoid sun exposure: Do not get a sunburn on the area within 24 hours before threading.
- Skip harsh products: Avoid using retinoids or other strong skincare products for a few days prior.
After your appointment:
- Do not touch: Avoid touching or rubbing the area to prevent irritation and infection.
- Avoid makeup: Do not apply makeup, creams, or oily products for at least 24 hours to allow the skin to breathe and recover.
- Avoid heat: Stay away from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and sunbathing for at least 24 hours.
- Skip vigorous activity: Avoid intense workouts and excessive sweating.
- Use sun protection: Protect the area from sun exposure by wearing a hat or using sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher after the initial 24 hours.
- Soothe the skin: If you experience redness, use a soothing gel, aloe vera, or ice to calm the skin.
- Use gentle products: When you resume your skincare routine, wash with a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser and be careful not to scrub the threaded area.
- Avoid harsh chemicals: Do not use products with high alcohol content or strong fragrances, as they can cause dryness and irritation.
